چکیده
To evaluate in intraoperative complications of MSICS performed by Junior Residents and to compare the incidences major first six months training versus last training. It is a retrospective type study. From March 2018 February 2019 total 293 manual SICS were conducted Department Ophthalmology. Each patients underwent detailed ophthalmological examination preoperatively under peribulbar anesthesia. Consents for surgeries obtained from each patient. Following noted: tunnel related complications, capsulorrhexis Iridodialysis, posterior capsular rent, zonular dialysis, vitreous leak, surgical aphakia, Descemet membrane detachment, placement ACIOL, Nucleus drop IOL drop. The patient’s immediate postoperative vision was also noted. SPSS version 15.0. Tunnel found 13.98% either as scleral button holing or premature entry. Posterior rents bag disinsertion 11.94% owing which 3.07% left aphakic. 63.13% had visual acuity better than 6/12 snellens chart on day. Performance adequate anterior capsulotomy, minimal handling cornea avoidance rent are some challenges faced residents while learning MSICS. Stepwise supervised can help resident doctor master these steps keeping at acceptably low levels. performing minimize
